Platform data privacy & security FAQs

Many organisations need clarity on how learner data is handled, stored, and deleted. These FAQs summarise how the DishaFLEX platform manages employee names, emails, and training records in a secure, compliant manner.

Critical data is encrypted at rest using standard encryption algorithms. Access to data is based on roles/rights/matrix with stringent admin and authentication features that prevent unauthorised data access across multiple entities. Passwords are encrypted (bcrypt or similar), HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) is enforced, and database access is restricted. At rest, data resides in MySQL on encrypted EBS volumes. The platform does not share or reuse client data and uses it only for user access and certification purposes. The DishaFLEX platform is multi-tenant, logically separated by organisation IDs.

Employee names and emails are used only for training and certification purposes and are not shared with any third party for marketing or analytics.

Two weeks after completion of the training and upon confirmation from the client stakeholder, the data is deleted from the platform.

Once the data retention term (two weeks) is over, the data is permanently deleted from the application tier, database tier, and storage tier (as applicable). The platform supports multi-tenancy to ensure data isolation so deleting one customer’s data does not affect others, and deletion is scoped correctly to that tenant.

Yes. A privacy policy and, where required, a data processing agreement (DPA) are available for review as part of the onboarding and procurement process.
